2. Hosting and Access Data
Our website is hosted by STRATO GmbH (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin). STRATO automatically stores certain technical information in so-called server log files when you visit our website, including:
- Your IP address (in shortened form),
- Date and time of access,
- Accessed pages and files,
- Browser type and operating system,
- The referring page (Referrer).
This data is necessary for the technical provision of the website, ensuring system security, and analyzing any errors. No personal analysis is conducted.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with our hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
The storage duration of the log data depends on the specifications of our hosting provider.

5. Web Analysis with Matomo (without Cookies)
This website uses Matomo, a privacy-friendly open-source software for anonymized user behavior analysis. Matomo is operated on a server we rent and exclusively control at our hosting provider STRATO GmbH – no cookies are set.
The following data is collected, among others:
- Shortened IP address,
- Accessed pages,
- Browser and device type,
- Screen resolution,
- Duration and time of visit,
- Referring page (Referrer).
The IP address is automatically anonymized (last two bytes removed) to ensure no personal identification is possible.
Purpose: Improvement and user-oriented optimization of our online offer.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website analysis). The data remains entirely on our servers and is not shared with third parties.
6. Use of Technically Necessary Cookies
Our website uses so-called 'session cookies' that are necessary for technical operation. These cookies enable basic functionalities like page navigation or remembering the selected language.
They are not used for user tracking or analysis and are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

7. Local Integration of Fonts
For a consistent presentation of our content, we use Google Web Fonts, but they are integrated locally on our server. This means no personal data is transmitted to Google.
